Welcome to the ASHRAE NB/PEI Chapter!
We are proud to serve as the ASHRAE Chapter for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, dedicated to advancing the science and technology of HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration). Our mission goes beyond engineering—through our efforts to raise funds for the ASHRAE Society, we contribute to critical research that shapes the future of HVAC-R.
Our multi-disciplinary committee strives to create enriching learning and networking opportunities for professionals in the HVAC industry across NB and PEI. Whether you’re a seasoned engineer or new to the field, our chapter offers a welcoming community where you can connect, grow, and make a lasting impact on our industry.

A Message From The President
I would like to thank our outgoing President, Mike Boudreau, who faithfully served our chapter for the past three years. Mike's hard work and dedication helped build a strong Board of Governors, deliver an excellent schedule of meetings, and grow membership throughout our chapter. His leadership has left us well-positioned for continued success.
At our recent CRC conference in PEI, the importance of including and engaging our PEI members was once again reinforced. Many PEI members came together to support us at the Brudenell River Resort, and I would like to extend a big thank you to each of you. Your efforts were greatly appreciated and helped Dan Bourdeau and the organizing committee deliver one of the best CRCs on record, with outstanding attendance, including ASHRAE President Sarah Maston.
Our chapter is unique in that it spans two provinces and a large geographic area. While a significant portion of our membership is located in the Moncton region, we have active members throughout both New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. One of our goals for the coming year is to make our meetings more accessible by exploring opportunities to broadcast technical presentations and chapter events online. The intent is to allow members in more remote areas to participate and benefit from the valuable technical content presented at our regular monthly meetings.
The NB/PEI Chapter remains strong, and your Board of Governors is working hard to make our chapter even stronger and more successful for all members. That success depends on the time, effort, and participation of our volunteers and members. We encourage everyone to get involved in whatever way they can, with attending our monthly meetings being one of the easiest and most valuable ways to connect, share ideas, and stay engaged with our industry.
